Dr. Ian Smith joins Good Day Atlanta to discuss his new book, “The New Menopause Kitchen,” which focuses on nutrition, exercise and lifestyle changes for women experiencing perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause. Smith explains the importance of protein, resistance training and other nutrients, discusses foods he recommends limiting and demonstrates how QR codes in the book connect readers to exercises. The book also features more than 50 recipes from Rachael Ray and is designed to help women navigate the physical changes that can come with menopause.
