Governor Kemp surveys Pineland fire

Governor Brian Kemp returned to South Georgia on Tuesday to survey the devastating aftermath of the Pineland Fire. The blaze, which has now scorched more than 32,500 acres across Clinch and Echols counties, remains one of the most stubborn and dangerous wildfires in the nation. Following a helicopter tour of the burn zone, the governor held a press briefing at the Manor School and Community Center, which is currently serving as the region's Emergency Operations Center.
