Mo Ivory addresses supporters and delivers victory speech
Standing at the podium before a wildly cheering, capacity crowd of supporters, campaign volunteers, and prominent local leaders, newly minted Democratic nominee Mo Ivory officially delivered her victory speech late Tuesday night. Her address followed a dominant performance on the Fulton County election board that ultimately led to a gracious concession from 84-year-old incumbent Robb Pitts. Backed on stage by Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat, and District Attorney Fani Willis, Ivory declared that the historic runoff results mark an undeniable, permanent shift in the county's leadership culture.
