Henry County moving forward with new $55M aquatic center
The long-anticipated Henry County Aquatic Center is hitting its next major development milestone. With a total project budget of $55 million funded by SPLOST V, the facility in McDonough is on track for a summer 2026 completion. FOX 5’s Chris Rosenthal reports on the latest progress at the site, which will feature a 50-meter indoor competition pool and a massive outdoor water park. Officials say the center will be a "game-changer" for both local recreation and competitive swimming events in Middle Georgia.
