Father sentenced to life for horrific child torture
A Gwinnett County man will spend the rest of his life behind bars following his conviction for what prosecutors described as one of the most horrific, systematic cases of child torture and sexual abuse in recent metro history. A jury found 51-year-old Loganville resident William Linn McCue guilty of felony murder, two counts of rape, three counts of aggravated child molestation, and two counts of incest. Following the verdict, a Gwinnett County Superior Court judge ordered McCue to serve three consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole, followed by a fourth life sentence, plus an additional 120 years in prison.
