Artemis II launch just hours away
NASA is just hours away from the historic Artemis 2 launch, marking the first time in over 50 years that a crewed spacecraft will travel toward the moon. The launch is scheduled for approximately 6:24 p.m. EDT today, April 1, 2026, from the Kennedy Space Center. We spoke to reporter Rebekah Castor about the launch conditions and today's prep. We also spoke with Jud Ready, Executive Director of Ga Tech's Space Research Institute, about what this means for future missions to Mars.
