Jack Smith testifies on Trump investigations

Former Justice Department Special Counsel Jack Smith testified before the House Judiciary Committee, addressing his investigations into President Donald Trump. Republican lawmakers questioned Smith about the probes into efforts to overturn the 2020 election and the handling of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago during the 2024 campaign. Smith told lawmakers he has no partisan loyalties, saying his work was guided solely by the facts and the rule of law.
