Monday morning weather forecast
North Georgia starts the day in the 50s, with a cool morning and a mild, breezy afternoon reaching the low 70s. A few areas could see light rain Tuesday evening, with storms and heavier downpours most likely Wednesday into Wednesday evening. Some spots could receive 1 to 2 inches of rain or more, bringing a risk of localized flash flooding. Stronger storms are expected to favor areas north of Georgia, but the storms should still be monitored. The rain could help ease drought conditions before sunshine and highs near 70 return for the rest of the workweek and weekend.
