Tuesday midday weather forecast
A stretch of unseasonably warm weather is expected across metro Atlanta, with highs reaching the upper 80s and records potentially tied or broken through Friday. Thursday is forecast to be the warmest day, with a high near 89 degrees, before a cold front brings a sharp drop in temperatures for the weekend. Highs will fall into the 60s and 70s, with overnight lows in the 40s and some North Georgia spots possibly dropping into the 30s. The front is expected to bring breezy conditions but no strong chance of rain.
