Man charged in Peachtree City hit and run of cyclist
Peachtree City police said they have surveillance images of 38-year-old Kenneth Vialet's Jeep Grand Cherokee from the July 31 hit and run along South Peachtree Parkway at Fisher?s Luck that injured cyclist John Snyder. Vialet was arrested on Monday and charged felony hit and run, serious injury by a motor vehicle collision and violation of the new state law requiring motorists to provide a safe distance when passing bicycles. Police said Snyder's bike had proper lights and reflective devices.
