Friday evening forecast
Warm and muggy today ahead of a cold front that will be responsible for showers/storms later today. And rain/storms should be fairly isolated until 4pm and later. A line of gusty storms will sweep through after that time and through the evening. We have a level 1 risk of severe storms (damaging winds) northwest of I-85. Behind the front, humidity plummets for the holiday weekend, and temperatures will be significantly cooler, too! Highs in the 70s Saturday and Sunday. Low temperatures will cool into the 50s. Memorial Day will be mostly sunny and in the low 80s.
