So October 3rd will go down into the history books as the hottest day ever recorded in Atlanta as the temp hit 97. The old daily mark was 94 set back in 1911 and the monthly high was 95 set on Oct 5 and 6 of 1954. Hang in there, cooler weather is on the way..just not tomorrow. Here is your latest update.
