Warning issued in Newton Co. after inmate sightings reported

A warning was issued to the residents of Newton County after reports were received of a man knocking on doors asking for water and asking to use a phone. It has not been confirmed that the man knocking on doors was escaped inmate Timothy Shane, but police were actively searching the area on Wednesday morning.
