Mom of woman killed in hit-and-run to accused driver

A 19-year-old woman was struck and killed by a dump truck in a hit-and-run crash in Brookhaven earlier this week, and her mother is speaking publicly for the first time. The crash happened Tuesday at the intersection of Clairmont Road and Dresden Drive. Police said the driver hit the victim while she was crossing the street and then left the scene.
