Callanwolde looks to nearby church for expansion plan
The nonprofit Callanwolde Fine Arts Center is planning to purchase a church across the street from its campus to expand its facilities and programming. The original expansion plans included constructing two new buildings on the Callanwolde campus, but those changed when the nearby church went on the market. Executive director Andrew Keenan says Callanwolde needs to raise about $2 million for the project.
