Atlanta double amputee veteran takes on Berlin Marathon

This month, Sgt. Cedric King will take on the 2025 Berlin Marathon, and upon finishing, will be an Abbott World Marathon Majors (AWMM) Six Star Finisher, a title given to those who complete the six original AWMM – the Chicago, New York, London, Tokyo, Boston and Berlin Marathons. Cedric will be running Berlin with the support of two guides runners who were awarded race bibs by healthcare company, Abbott. These guides will be with Cedric every step of the way, carrying his nutrition, in addition to spare parts for his prosthetics, for the 26.2 miles.
