South Fulton police chief to be placed on leave

Just days after the South Fulton City Council voted to launch an independent investigation into its own police department following multiple lawsuits from former officers, members met for their first regular meeting. The council voted to amend the employee handbook in response, which will lead to the police chief being placed on leave.
