College Park mayor admits to missteps in condemnation

The mayor of College Park has denounced the city’s handling of the Chelsea Gardens Apartments. City officials told residents last month that the complex was condemned and they had days to move out. Then after the backlash, the city manager backpedaled and gave them until the end of June. The mayor is acknowledging significant missteps.
