Selma, Alabama Bloody Sunday 59th Anniversary

It was 59 years ago that activists faced a turning point in the civil rights movement as over 600 marchers attempted to cross the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama. They were met with violence in what's now known as Bloody Sunday.
