Chemical spill snarls I-285 traffic, 2 hospitalized
All lanes of I-285 northbound just past Langford Parkway were shut down for a chemical spill early Thursday evening. Atlanta Fire and Rescue officials say 200 gallons of sulfuric acid has spilled onto the roadway. And the dangerous chemical has put two HERO operators in the hospital.
