Public waits at Carter Center to pay respects

Dozens of people are waiting at the Carter Center to pay their respects to former first lady Rosalynn Carter. The long day began at Phoebe Medical Center in Americus where the Carters received treatment for years. From there, the motorcade traveled to Georgia Southwestern State University where a wreath laying ceremony was held outside the Rosalynn Carter Health and Human Science Complex. The family then headed to Atlanta where a private ceremony was held for Mrs. Carter inside the Carter Center.
