Newton Co. fire chief on administrative leave
Newton County has placed its fire chief on administrative leave following a FOX 5 I-Team investigation into a conflict of interest within his department. The I-Team first reported on how Mike Conner made tens of thousands of dollars on the side selling equipment to the department's own rescue dive team. A week later, action was taken against him.
