Back-to-school prep across metro Atlanta
Sunday marks the last weekend of summer for thousands of students across metro Atlanta. That means there were a number of back-to-school events throughout the city. In Gwinnett County, hundreds of people gathered in Lawrenceville for the free 'Clips, Kicks and Cuts' event. In Southwest Atlanta, a special back to school event was held for local kids in the foster system. In West Atlanta, former Atlanta Falcons star Julio Jones partnered with the Bank Foundation for a back to school drive. In Downtown Atlanta, 12-year-old CEO Caden Harris hosted his own back to school event in partnership with Legacy Wealth Education.
