Irish singer Sin�ad O?Connor dies at 56

Irish singer Sin�ad O?Connor has died at age 56. Her biggest hit was "Nothing Compares to You," but the singer was most famous for her 1992 SNL appearance, during which she tore up a photo of Pope John Paul II in protest of sexual abuse of children by the catholic church. The Grammy-winner is survived by three children. Her son, Shane, died in 2022.
