Trump's legal issues persist
Former President Donald Trump has received a letter informing him he is a target of an investigation by the Department of Justice. The DOJ is looking into his alleged efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. Here in Georgia, Trump's bid to shut down the criminal probe in Fulton County was dismissed by Georgia's Supreme Court. Gov. Brian Kemp commented on Trump's recent indictments, saying he believed they would serve as a distraction for the former president during the 2024 election.
