School sweethearts engaged 60 years later

It took 60 years, but a high school crush ended up with a surprise marriage proposal at the airport. Dr. Thomas McMeekin and Nancy Gambell first met in high school in Quincy, California. They went on few dates, but went their separate ways for college and ended up marrying other people. They saw each other again 10 years ago at their 50th high school reunion, but nothing happened. When McMeekin RSVP'd for their 60th reunion and heard Gambell would be there, he knew he had to make his move.
