Portia: Beating the Odds #2
In this second edition of the "Beating The Odds" series, tax professional Phyllis Hindsman lost part of her arm from an accident when she was 13-years-old. She didn’t let it stop her from living her best life. Phyllis says if she wants to do something, she will find a way to work things out! Former college football player Devon Gales took a hit on the field which changed his life. He was a healthy athlete who is now paralyzed from the chest down. Devon knew his injury was going to be a process, but he has bigger goals and that is to walk. He's a physical education teacher and he encourages his students to stay physically active and to not give up on their dreams!
