Safari partially reopens after tornado damage sets tiger, liger loose
Pine Mountain's Wild Animal Safari reopened partially Saturday. It seemed to be a sign of recovery for the Troup County community that's still grappling with the aftermath of a devastating EF-3 tornado. Back on March 31, a tiger and liger broke free from their habitat when the storm breached their enclosure. The animals were recovered. Parts of the zoo are still under repair.
