Severe weather threat in Georgia

While severe weather broke out across several states in the Midwest and Mississippi Valley, the same system is expected to lose some of its steam as it approaches Georgia. Still, there is a marginal risk for some severe storms or two as they arrive in northwest Georgia overnight and early Saturday morning. The storms will pass quick, leaving behind gusty winds and some chillier weather.
