Ga. lawmakers reach short-term compromise increasing truck weight limit

Members of the Senate Transportation Committee have reached a short-term compromise on a bill to allow trucks to carry more weight in Georgia. Now the bill heads to the Senate Rules Committee to decide if, or when, it will go to the Senate floor for a full vote.
