The next 48 hours will see an increase chance of severe storms with the biggest chance on Thursday. Strong to severe storms will move through north Georgia overnight into Thursday, mostly above I-20. Friday, there is a widespread severe thunderstorm threat. It will be windy and gusty. A tornado cannot be rule out with these storms.
