Tuesday evening forecast update
After breaking a record on the final day of February, we'll come close to doing it again Wednesday afternoon as highs reach back into the mid to upper 70s. In contrast to Tuesday, Wednesday will feature increasing clouds and a few spotty showers. The bulk of the day's wet weather will come after dark and will take us into Thursday. Thursday will give us waves of on and off showers and downpours. Currently, there's a risk a risk for strong to severe storms Friday as the final batch of moisture moves across North Georgia. The timing and impacts have shifted a bit in terms of modeling over the past couple days. We'll get a clearer picture of what Friday looks like during the day on Wednesday.
