Douglas County sheriff updates shooting death of 14-year-old girl
Douglas County Sheriff Tim Pounds revealed 14-year-old Kyra Scott was shot by her 13-year-old brother who was being robbed while trying to sell one of the semi-machine guns he had been manufacturing at the family's Vicki Lane home. The sheriff also said they are searching for a third person during a press conference on Dec. 1, 2021.
