MARIETTA, Ga. - It's called 'Crushin' for Carson.'

Etowah High School senior Drew Waters came up with the home run derby event to raise money for a 9-year-old baseball player who is dealing with cancer.

Waters put it together as his senior project.

Quite a few professional baseball players showed up to Monday's event.

The list includes Baseball Hall of Famer Tom Glavine.

There was a big turnout and the community was happy to rally around one of their own.
