SOUTH FULTON, Ga. - A 40-year-old woman has been charged with murder after another woman was shot and killed during a dispute at a South Fulton home, according to police.
What we know:
South Fulton police responded shortly before midnight Aug. 21 to the 5400 block of Keyhaven Place after receiving a report of a dispute involving a weapon.
Officers found Lameshia Norman suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel pronounced her dead at the scene.
Suspect charged with murder
Police identified the suspect as 40-year-old Domina Brown.
Jail records show Brown was booked into the Fulton County Jail on Aug. 22. She is charged with murder and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission or attempted commission of certain felonies.
Police have not released information about the relationship between Brown and Norman or what allegedly led to the dispute.

Detectives with the South Fulton Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division and crime scene investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Police said no additional information was available Monday morning.
