There was some wild weather along the Georgia Coast Friday.

The National Weather Service said a likely tornado formed outside Savannah causing some major damage to the coastal barrier islands.

There have been reports of power outages, downed trees, and more damage.

Residents said they didn't get much warning and sirens were never activated.

Officials in Chatham County said that's because the National Weather Service never sent out any watches or warnings.
