Thieves hit storage units

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - Police are looking for a group of thieves who broke into a storage facility and stole tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of equipment.

Landscaping employees said when they arrived at extra space storage this morning to get their trailers and trucks, their equipment was gone.

Five companies were targeted.

Gwinnett County Police haven’t released details on the crooks who are behind these thefts, but employees said they believe it's a sophisticated operation

Some of the landscaping companies said they don’t have the money to replace everything, and they fear this might just put them out of business.
