Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta released the shooting footage of the Feb. 11 robbery taken from a Ring doorbell camera on its Facebook page.

Rosetta Williams, 69, was coming home from grocery shopping near Vernier Drive at around 7 p.m. Monday and was starting to open her front door when the suspect ran up behind her.

The woman's friend yelled out a warning, but it was too late. The footage shows the masked suspect throwing the woman to the ground and snatching her purse.

The suspect then fled to a vehicle that was parked down the street. Williams told FOX 5's Deidra Dukes "I heard someone say 'Give it up. Give it up.' When he said, 'Give it up', he immediately grabbed for my purse and I tussled with him. He slung me to the pavement, which I didn't even realize until I saw the video."

The suspect ran off and jumped into a dark-colored car that was waiting for him down the street.

Williams had a message for the robber, "Please turn yourself in. Get a job. Stop victimizing people who are trying to at least earn an honest living."

Police are now asking anyone who may recognize the suspect or who has any information on the crime to contact Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477.
