Some soldiers from Georgia stationed in Iraq are supporting their home team and hometown.

Members of the 201st Regional Support Group deployed in mid-July, so they missed out on a big SEC weekend.

So in honor of UGA, the soldiers decided to name one of the roads at Al Asad Airbase "Georgia Bulldog Bend."

There's nothing like a familiar sight to offer a little comfort when you're away.

The Georgia soldiers also went with Peachtree Industrial for a second road name.

Yes, not even in Iraq can you get away from roads named Peachtree.
