College Park, GA - College Park police say two to three suspects opened fire on a woman outside an apartment complex in College Park. The shooting happened around 1:30 Sunday afternoon at the complex on Sullivan Road. Investigators say the suspects and the woman knew each other, but did not elaborate on their relationship.
Police say around twelve shots were fired during the incident, with at least two bullets flying through the windows of two different apartments. Fortunately, no one was injured or killed. Police spent several hours processing the scene for evidence. Neighbors say they heard loud volleys of gunfire and took cover.
"I was hoping that nobody got hurt because usually there are kids out here playing," said neigbor Tara Smith.
So far, authorities have no released any names or descriptions of the suspects.
