ATLANTA - Residents in the Glenwood neighborhood are on edge after someone opened fire on the street right in front of a popular restaurant.
Police said a botch car break-in Thursday escalated into a shootout situation. The owner of the vehicle ended up being shot. He was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital and was treated for gunshot wounds to each of his legs.
Some residents out for the night said they had to duck behind vehicles to avoid from being hit by the bullets.
No word on any arrests.
