GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police in Gwinnett County are searching for a woman who investigators believe stole a wallet from a purse hanging on the back of a chair at a restaurant.
It happened at the Bonefish Grill restaurant located at 3420 Buford Drive. Gwinnett County Police released surveillance images of the woman they believe stole the wallet.
Investigators said the suspect was seated behind the victim’s chair and took advantage of the situation.
Police said the suspect purchased several gift cards of more than $1,500 at the self-checkout register at the Kroger located at 3300 Hamilton Mill Road
