ATLANTA - U.S. Representative John Lewis is leading a protest Saturday against the National Rifle Association’s (NRA) annual convention in Atlanta.
According to a new release, the civil right activist will join hundreds of gun safety activists from Mons Demand Action and the Everytown Survivor Network to “fight back against the NRA leadership's dangerous "guns everywhere" agenda.”

The rally begins at 11 a.m. at the Woodruff Park on Peachtree Street in northwest Atlanta.
President Donald Trump spoke at the annual convention Friday and thanked its members for their support and promised he will remain unwavering in his support for gun rights.
