Police: Woman found shot in head at Gwinnett County home

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - Gwinnett County Police are investigating the death of a woman found shot in her home Friday afternoon.

Investigators say the fiancé of 49-year-old Denise Bukart-Haynes found her dead from an "apparent gunshot wound to her head" a little after 2 p.m. on Friday.

At the time, police did not rule the death a homicide. On Saturday, however, the ruling changed.

Police say that there were no signs of forced entry at the home.

Officials have not released any information related to a possible suspect.

They are asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything related to the homicide to call 911.
