Police: three found dead near Coolidge

Coolidge Police say three people are dead in a shooting near State Route 87 and Signal Peak Road.

Officers got a call just before noon on Wednesday of three bodies found.

All three victims were located and pronounced dead, a car was found nearby abandoned with the trunk open.

Police identified the victims as 45-year-old Reyna Idalia Renteria, 75-year-old Francisco Renteria Valenzuela, and 57-year-old Everado Verduzco all of Coolidge.

Authorities closed down SR87 for most of Wednesday afternoon in both directions as they investigated the scene.

A spokesperson for the department said they were not looking for any suspects, and that they believed the shooter was among the dead.
