FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ga. - The search is on for two robbery suspects who are considered armed and dangerous.
Authorities say two men robbed a Flying J Travel Plaza in Carnesville, Georgia and shot a customer in the chest at close range early Saturday morning.
Investigators say the men demanded and took money from the store registers and then drove off in a tan or light gray Tahoe or Suburban SUV of a 2007 or newer model.
Medics transported the shooting victim to a local hospital. They are now in stable condition.
Police described the first suspect as having a small build and possibly being in his early teens. He was wearing a gray-black hoodie with the word "Love" on the front and right arm, blue jeans, red shoes, and a blue bandana. The second suspect has a heavy build and was wearing a black hoodie, red pants, black shoes, red underwear, and a blue bandana.
