Sandy Springs police said Friday that officers found no evidence of gunfire at the Art Institute of Atlanta on Peachtree Dunwoody Road.

A number of officers converged on the campus Friday morning after police received a report that someone there heard gunfire. Police evacuated the building and began a thorough search.

After an extensive search, police found no victims or any other evidence that shots had been fired. A police spokesperson said the report came in shortly after a power outage at the school.

After a search that lasted about two hours, police gave the all-clear.
