Police looking for person of interest in check theft

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police need your help finding a woman they say tried to cash a stolen check.

Peachtree City police and Athens-Clarke County police are working to track down a woman caught on camera at a PTC bank drive-through.

Investigators released a photo of the woman cashing a check at a bank in Peachtree City.

They believe the check was stolen from a car in Athens.

They're asking anyone who can identify her to give the Peachtree City Police Department a call.
