CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - Police in Tennessee are investigating the shooting deaths of a teen and a man at a Chattanooga cemetery as a gang-related crime.
Media outlets report former Chattanooga city councilman Manny Rico saw two bodies around 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery and called 911. Police responded and confirmed that the two young men had been shot to death.
Chattanooga police have identified the two victims as 20-year-old Thomas Holder and 17-year-old Rayshann Underwood.
Police said Wednesday that the deaths are being investigated as a "gang motivated incident."
