ATLANTA - Police said an argument between street vendors and a group of people led to a deadly shooting southwest Atlanta on Monday afternoon
It happened in the parking lot of a strip mall near the corner of Cascade and Donnelly avenues around 2 p.m. Investigators said the group of people had an argument with one of the sidewalk vendors at the location earlier in the day. The group returned later and confronted the vendors, according to investigators.
Someone in the group pulled out a handgun and fired it, striking the victim, according to police. That victim was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital where they were pronounced dead.
The names of those involved have not yet been released.
